Design & Technology teacher Mr Campbell and a group of Year 10 students are currently building a green powered go-kart to race against other schools and colleges at nationwide Greenpower organised events. Greenpower provided a basic car kit that the team need to build to a race-ready standard! As you can see from the photo their progress is impressive but they still have some work to do before the car is ready to race, and they need funding to help them get there. Student have been fundraising by selling home baked cakes, but are also seeking support from local small businesses and companies for sponsorship.
